Pethuel Ofori
Pethuel is an undergraduate student majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering and plans to pursue medical school. In Dr. Kumar’s lab, Pethuel conducts research with Adam Humpal’s project: Tuning pH-Responsive Polymeric Brushes via Hydrophobic Interactions. Outside of the lab, Pethuel serves as the Social Chair for Mines’ Premedical Society and is a member of the Mines Men’s Volleyball Club and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, bass guitar, and drums
