Lee Whinston is an undergraduate majoring in Quantitative Biosciences and Engineering. He has been working with Alyson Camacho on high-throughput polymer synthesis and characterization. Previously, Lee worked in the Gelb Biochemistry lab at the University of Washington and uploaded genetic mutation data to ClinVar. He plans to pursue a PhD in synthetic biology. Beyond the lab, Lee enjoys science fiction, lacrosse, and cross country skiing.
